Full-Service tour features
Knowledgeable Guides
Your two expert guides that accompany the tour are either Spanish or live in Spain year round, and are fluent in English. This is our home and we love to share it with you! In addition to looking out for your safety and taking care of all your needs, they are also great cooks! (see Fabulous Food below).
Fabulous Food
All your meals (with wine and beer) are included — your only job is to enjoy the trail! Weather permitting, our gourmet picnics showcase the freshest of local flavors. These are always prepared on the trail by one of your guides. In the evenings we dine either at our accommodation or at a nearby restaurant. We like to eat and believe that the local cuisine is an important part of your journey.
Unique Accommodations
When possible, we stay at charming restored manor homes and 3-4 star hotels that offer the best in hospitality, comfort, and location. Many of these hotels are family owned and run. So, don’t be surprised by the big smiles when we check in, many of these hoteliers have known us for over 15 years!
Support Vehicle
A private bus accompanies the group to provide assistance when needed – if one day you cannot or do not wish to walk the full scheduled miles, you are more than welcome to do lesser options. Likewise, the bus allows us to stay two nights in the same hotel, sometimes even three!
Pre and On Tour Assistance
Once you register, we will contact you to assist with any hotel, train or bus tickets and arrangements that you might need prior to or after your Fresco Tour. Our client service managers are wonderful resources and will provide advice and guidance with your journey before you even set foot in Spain!
