Today combines cultural visits with a relaxing walk through the easternmost part of Menorca—also the easternmost point of Spain, and the first place where the sun rises over the country. The first part of the walk takes us inland through a pleasant, shaded area filled with trees and traditional stone walls, creating an idyllic landscape.

As we continue, two stone landmarks guide our path: the Alcaufar Tower and later the lighthouse of Illa de l’Aire (meaning “Air Island”). This second section is completely flat, offering sweeping coastal views and flanked by dune vegetation such as savins and pines. We finish the walk at Punta Prima, the southernmost point of the island, where we enjoy another gourmet picnic lunch in a garden near the beach.
To enrich the experience, we have planned cultural visits both before and after the walk. Menorca offers a wealth of artistic and historical sites that reflect its past significance—most notably are its Neolithic settlements and the military forts built by the English, French, and Spanish during the 17th and 18th centuries to defend the island from invaders.
