Day 6

Accommodations: Ferreries rural area (B, L, D)

Distance: 14 km / 9 mi

Today’s walk along the northern coast of Menorca immerses us in the island’s deep, untouched forests, dominated by oak, pine, and wild olive trees. The vibrant contrast between the green forest, the blue sea, and the rich red soil creates a striking natural palette that accompanies us throughout the day. The route feels truly remote—aside from a single distant house, we are completely surrounded by unspoiled nature.

We begin on a wide forest trail that leads us back to the coast. Much of the walk remains inland, sheltered from coastal winds and offering a peaceful woodland experience. The terrain is gentle, with no significant climbs, and the paths are generally wide and comfortable.

Those interested can take a short 400-meter detour to admire the impressive Algaiarens Beach—a rewarding stop that may tempt you in for a swim. From there, the trail becomes more panoramic, offering sweeping coastal views as we continue toward our destination. The final stretch leads us along a straight path bordered by Menorca’s traditional stone walls, known as paret seca, before arriving at Cala Morell, where we enjoy a well-earned lunch by the sea. In the evening, we settle into our hotel area and sit down to another relaxing dinner.
