It was a fascinating trip because you got to see so many things from the Camino that you don’t see when you only take the last hundred kilometers into Santiago. The guides on this trip were Carol and Jeffery, and they both really came through for us (as always), but this trip was an above and beyond. And while we had never been sick on the Camino, on this particular trip, on the last day before Santiago, we were under the weather, and not knowing if contagious, we wanted to stay away from the group, and get some extra rest. Fresco helped us with all of the arrangements, and checked on us frequently. We felt very well cared for, and we were able to meet up for the farewell dinner and make it home without any further issues.
