Originally from the plains of Kansas, Cari moved to Madrid in 2010 to do a master’s degree in Spanish literature. Although it was intended to be a 2 year stay, it has now turned into 14 years abroad, first living in the UK, then the French Pyrenees, and now northern Spain. She lives in a small, rural village next to the ocean in Cantabria, where she enjoys hiking and reading. She did her first Camino in 2011 and she is excited to share with you her love of Spain and travel.
