Not only the gorgeous country, Fresco Tours thinks of everything! It made our walk so enjoyable and Nagore was a wonderful guide.

Fresco Tours took care of everything. They provided the information needed for preparing and packing for the trip and took care of hotel reservations and luggage transportation between hotels. Our guides were multi-talented and professional. They provided information about each day’s trek on our Camino Portuguese and even prepared fresh and delicious picnic lunches for each day. I would definitely use this company for any future Camino trips.

The trip was amazing!  Fresco Tours was great from start to finish. Alissa was fast with details and info. And Ana our guide and Alberto our transport guy were both awesome too. They were attentive and enthusiastic about their jobs and so professional too. I’ve done other guided tours, and this is top of the line. Our accommodations and food were also excellent. When we got into Santiago, Ana’s excitement, and assistance with the certificates etc were so helpful. We had the best time and a lot of laughs that we will remember forever. 

Fresco Kinder Camino Portugués was amazing. The support from the amazing guides Sandra and Miguel, the warm and welcoming friends I made on the tour from USA, Canada and Australia were truly special. I was apprehensive about completing the Camino walk. but was supported and encouraged the whole way and rewarded with delicious guide prepared lunches, lovely evening meals and great accomomdation.

Can’t recommend this company highly enough. We had an incredible experience on their Kinder Camino tour, and the arrangements and accommodations were perfect. Our guides David and Dani were wonderful and we learned so much about the Camino and life in Spain. Truly an experience we will never forget.

Wow, walking the Camino de Santiago was an incredible experience/trip. A Kinder (Gentler) Camino with Fresco Tours was an important part of my Camino experience. Fresco Tours were spot on: from the initial booking, promptly responding to my many emails & questions, the itinerary was efficiently planned and well thought out, tour guides who were attentive, knowledgeable and professional. Food was generous (love the picnic lunches!), accommodations in good hotels and unique manor houses. A great decision for me who wanted  to undertake the pilgrimage to Santiago and also have creature comforts.

Thank you Fresco for our amazing guided Kinder Camino tour. Every detail was taken care of leaving us free to do nothing but enjoy every moment of our walk as well as all the delicious food and wine. Huge thank you to our exceptional guides Sandra and Miguel . You were amazing !

The correspondence before my trip was very good. The guides, accommodations, and food were an excellent addition to an amazing Camino experience!

Everything was top notch and for any friends looking to be pampered on a Camino tour, I would certainly recommend Fresco (and I already have).  The food and lodging were excellent, especially the picnic lunches, but what really made this a special adventure was the quality of our guides, Ana and Nagore. They were exceptional – hard working, efficient, kind, witty, full of historical and Camino knowledge and very fun to be around.

An amazing adventure with excellent guides and services along with a great group of participants. We had high expectations for this adventure but all of our expectations were exceeded. The guides, service, food, lodging, and hospitality created an experience we will cherish forever! Thank you Camino and Fresco Tours!

I really wanted to walk on el CAMIÑO de Santiago but I did not want to walk 15 miles a day.
At 64 with some back and foot trouble, I wanted a tour that offered logistical support and cultural education. I could not carry a heavy pack and worried that my feet might hurt too much if I walked too far each day. Seven to ten miles was plenty for me. It allowed me to enjoy coffee on the roadside, take pictures of wild flowers, watch the dogs herd cattle, etc. It also allowed me to travel with a friend who had knee issues and less hiking experience. I knew she would have the support she might need. Luckily we were both able to walk the entire 115 km. We were able to afford single rooms so got the alone time we needed. Lodging and food were nice and local. Great logistical support. Helpful, encouraging guides.
