Without a doubt this was the best tour that I have been on. The guides, David and Niko, were excellent and were very attentive to the needs and requests of all travelers. The accommodation and food, especially the picnic lunches, exceeded my expectations. I have already recommended Fresco Tours to some friends.

Regarding the performance of Fresco Tours, they did an exemplary job in every possible way. The tour guides we had on the trip (Jon, Ana, and Dani (our tour bus driver) did a fabulous job. They put in a huge amount of effort, both when with us and behind the scenes. They were a major part of making this such a fun and satisfying trip. The office staff (Elba, and probably several others behind the scenes) were so helpful in answering our pre-trip questions and helping us get set up for this trip. A fun and successful trip like we had doesn’t just happen; it was largely because of their efforts and local knowledge.

Fresco Tours provided everything we needed to walk 200k of the camino. they are very responsive and easy to work with. the accommodations were great and a variety of hotels and smaller bed & breakfasts as well as a couple of boutique places. the luggage transfer was excellent and accurate. the distances on the route for each day were well thought out and we would not have known how to do all that they gave us. we believe it is a great value. be sure to follow their pre-camino prep instructions because that was so nice to not be overwhelmed with walking 8-17miles a day -everyday.

This tour from start to finish exceeded all my expectations. I traveled with 4 otger friends and tour coordinator, Elba guided us through each step. She made hotel reservations for our extra nights, found us a driver to take and pick us up to Finneterre.Miguel and Alex were equally helpful and engaing. The walk itself challenged me because of the hills- I live in Illinois USA, so very flat- but the hills also made the walk more interesting. The Camino is beautiful. Each hotel chosen by Fresco tour was inviting, clean and accomodating. All the information provided had everything we needed for a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this tour experience

Fresco Tours is an excellent tour company. Pre-trip communication was excellent. Our Camino walk was a joy. The group was small, the guides and van support were excellent. The lodging and meals were great. We walked about 8-10 miles a day for 9 days. The scenery on the Way was often breathtaking. We walked up and down hills, through small villages, towns, and cities. We walked next to pastures that were being planted, cows grazing, goats nibbling on trees, and horses relaxing. In the start and end cities – Leon and Santiago – we had tours of the old city, focusing on the city’s cathedral. Each evening the guides explained the route for the following day, including the terrain, the sites, and the history.

I did a Camino walking tour in Spain with Fresco and it was outstanding. They made it really easy and the guides were super professional, knowledgeable and pleasant to be with. The hotels and restaurants they chose for us were all very, very good. I recommend Fresco without hesitation and would definitely travel with them again.
