What an experience it was with Fresco Tours! I highly recommend them. From start to finish they took care of everything. From 4-star hotels & manor homes and all meals included. Started in Leon and walked to Santiago. Some days I chose to take the shuttle for a portion. (My Camino)!

It was not only with perfect and precise arrangements, but also with patience and grace on your part. Ana and Miguel were excellent guides. We miss them already. The walk was therapeutic at least and spiritual at most. I hope that we will be returning soon to start, perhaps, Chapter 1. This was my third Camino trip with Fresco Tours, and each one has been better than the ones before. Fresco Tours simply address every need yet does not eliminate the “pilgrim” aspect of the Camino experience. Who needs the hassle of finding lodging, schlepping baggage, planning meals, and all of the other details that can detract from a beautiful Camino experience? A private room, comfy bed, warm shower, and good meals are important for many pilgrims of my vintage. Add the benefit of knowledgeable tour leaders who are there to help but who also give you plenty of independence, and great pre-trip planning assistance with travel arrangements, hotels, and every other need. Fresco Tours has never let me down. I will be with Fresco Tours for my next Camino, and I strongly recommend them for yours.

The guides Piero and Nagore were unbelievable. I couldn’t get over how they were able to anticipate so many things and clients. They were able to get the people to form as a team quite quickly. Their experience and knowledge of the Camino was extremely helpful to my experience. The tour was fantastic, from the driver Manuel who expertly maneuvered the bus through the beautiful villages to the amazing lunches provided along the way. The Camino was everything that I had hoped for, but Fresco made it even more. From the beautiful Pazos we stayed at, the meals or should I say banquets we enjoyed at the Pazos and the cultural visits provided by the guides. I can’t imagine doing any Camino tours without the Fresco touch. We started in Leon for the Frances Camino but now we want to do the Portuguese Camino with Fresco of course.

My favorite part was the start in St Jean Pied de Port, France over the Pyrenees to Roncesvalles, Spain. All the accommodations and trip logistics handled by Fresco Tours were excellent. This is the second time I have walked with them on a Self-Guided tour

This tour was everything they promised and more. I went on their Kinder Camino tour and was so extremely happy with this company and the fabulous guides we had. My friend and I at age 75 each, savored every minute. Our guides Ana and Miguel were so thoughtful, helpful, and kind. No pressure at all but we both made it. Ana was so knowledgeable about the history of Spain and the Camino, Miguel her partner was like a sponge wanting to learn every American term and language usage. The van and bus were always there for transport. The food was so good and each day a new adventure in the food of Spain. We ate at local places and enjoyed the places they chose.
Just got home yesterday and would go again tomorrow. Am I a hiker? No way but have wanted to make my Camino for a long time. This is the best company. Be prepared for the great customer service and inclusions you weren’t expecting. A bus to take you to starting points and a small van to provide you with supplies. They thought of everything, explained everything, and prepared me for the best way to do my Camino. Buen Camino
