Fresco Tours is an excellent tour company. Pre-trip communication was excellent. Our Camino walk was a joy. The group was small, the guides and van support were excellent. The lodging and meals were great. We walked about 8-10 miles a day for 9 days. The scenery on the Way was often breathtaking. We walked up and down hills, through small villages, towns, and cities. We walked next to pastures that were being planted, cows grazing, goats nibbling on trees, and horses relaxing. In the start and end cities – Leon and Santiago – we had tours of the old city, focusing on the city’s cathedral. Each evening the guides explained the route for the following day, including the terrain, the sites, and the history.
