Girona

Girona is a historic city known for its well-preserved medieval architecture, rich cultural heritage, and picturesque surroundings. It offers a perfect blend of history, art, and modern amenities.

Girona’s old town is a labyrinth of narrow cobblestone streets, historic buildings, Roman and medieval walls, and charming squares. It’s a delight to explore on foot, with each corner revealing new architectural and cultural treasures. Because of its well-preserved medieval atmosphere, the city has featured in several renowned historic and fantasy films. As usual, the most prominent landmark in the old town is the cathedral. The Cathedral of Saint Mary features a combination of architectural styles, including Romanesque, Gothic, and Baroque elements. The medieval Jewish Quarter is one of the best-preserved in Europe.
