Twenty years after walking the Camino on his own, McCarthy walked it again with his son in summer of 2021. Already a published author, McCarthy has written a book of his father-son experience on the Camino de Santiago. The book is titled Walking with Sam by Andrew McCarthy and it went on sale on May 8th, 2023.
That’s one week before The Way with Martin Sheen returned to movie theaters! At Fresco tours we believe that this is too much of a coincidence and that, perhaps, after almost 40 years, a part of the Brat Pack have come together again, but this time on the Camino de Santiago.
